Former Federal Minister Chaudhry Munis Elahi has said that it is known from the media and social media that a new FIR has been filed against me, it is being said that I have done money laundering of 5 crores.
In his statement, he said that first NAB investigated my assets and said in the court that all the assets are legitimate, then FIA did a search on the same assets which was rejected by the High Court.
Munis Elahi said that all my assets are declared and taxed, details of assets are submitted to FBR and Election Commission every year.
He further said that the allegation of Rs 5 crore was explained by me a few days ago, this amount is declared, deposited in my bank account and owned by me.
Chaudhry Munis Elahi said that the entire money trail of this amount is in my tax return.
