Drivers can still expect unfavorable traffic conditions in some places due to occasional showers, reduced visibility and increased risk of landslides in hilly areas, the Auto Moto Association of Serbia announced.
Due to the rain, landslides have become more frequent in hilly and mountainous areas, so drivers are advised to reduce their speed and increase the distance between vehicles, it was stated in the announcement.
Works are in progress on numerous sections and short stoppages or slow traffic are possible, and on some roads vehicles are directed to alternative directions, AMSS reminds.
At the border crossings at the cargo terminals, trucks wait for two hours at the exit from Serbia at Horgoš and Kelebija, four hours at Bačka Palanka, six hours at Batrovci, and eight hours at Šid and Bezdan, AMSS announced.
