Another danger after blowing up the dam on the Dnieper. The river carries even … mines!

World news

After the Russians blew up the dam on the Dnieper, the water took with it everything it could. Unfortunately, the river also carries large amounts of barrage mines laid by Russian bandits with the current. The Operational Command South of the Ukrainian army is alerting about the danger.

“Water masses washed away the mine barriers that the occupiers built on the left bank. Currently, a large number of mines are flowing with the river’s current.

– reported the Southern Command on Facebook.

As noted in the press release, as a result of the flood of water after the dam of the Kachowska Hydroelectric Power Plant was blown up, garbage, fragments of various objects, boats, and even fragments of building structures flow down the river.

The military has warned about the increased mine threat along the banks of the Dnieper, the Liman of the Dnieper and Bohu and the entire Black Sea coast in the Mykolaiv and Odessa regions.

In the Odessa region, a mine floated ashore and was detonated by Ukrainian soldiers.

It was also notified that the risk of missile strikes remains high. On combat duty (in the Black Sea) there is a Russian submarine with four Kalibr missiles.
