“Another Love” is the new most streamed song in Austria

With 27.6 million views “Another Love” from Tom Odell the most streamed song in streaming history in Austria to date. This is shown by an evaluation by GfK Entertainment.

The catchy tune overtook “Dance Monkey” from Tones and Iwhich topped the all-time hit list for a long time and has 27.5 million clicks to date, it said in a broadcast on Thursday.

The top five most successful streaming hits include “Roller” (Apache 207), “Blinding Lights” (The Weeknd) and “Heat Waves” (Glass Animals). The most streamed song by an Austrian artist is “500 PS” by RAF Camora (with Bonez MC), which comes in seventh.

With 177 placements, “Another Love” is also the title most frequently featured in the Ö3 Austria Top 40. Andreas Gabalier’s “I sing a Liad für di” (132 placements) follows at some distance. Released in October 2013, “Another Love” achieved its highest rating to date in second place at the beginning of 2014, reported GfK Entertainment.

After being absent from the charts for years, the song about frustration and love made a comeback on TikTok and as a protest anthem in 2021. On social media, for example, women who had their hair cut off in solidarity with Iranian women demonstrating for women’s rights accompanied their action with “Another Love”. Tom Odell’s hit is currently at number 28 in Austria.
