The four hundred and sixty-fourth day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun. Suffering heavy losses, the enemy continues to use terror tactics, trying to intimidate the population of Ukraine.
Previously, this night the enemy used 15 cruise missiles and 18 Iranian Shahed UAVs for strikes. All these aerial targets were destroyed by our defenders. The General Staff of the Armed Forces informs about this.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 12 missile strikes using 10 ballistic and cruise missiles of the “Iskander” type on Kyiv and two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles on Kharkiv. In addition, he carried out 46 airstrikes and carried out 107 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded civilians, including children, children’s polyclinic, residential apartment buildings, private houses and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.
The probability of launching missile and air strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to completely occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled 25 enemy attacks.
On Volynskyi and to Poliske directions, the operational situation remains stable, no signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected.
On Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. He carried out an airstrike in the Galaganivka district of the Chernihiv region. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the settlements of Berylivka, Yeline, Mystki, Khotiivka, Tymonovichi, Yanzhulivka, Krasny Khutir and Mykolaivka of the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Atynske, Pavlivka, Pisarivka, Uhroidy, Krasnopillya, Slavgorod of the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Ogirtseve, Gatyshche, Bugruvatka, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha, Varvarivka, Budarky, Chugunivka in the Kharkiv region.
On Kupiansky in the direction of the enemy during the past day, unsuccessful offensive actions were carried out west of Masyutivka in the Kharkiv region and near Kuzemivka in the Luhansk region. Airstrikes on Vilshania, Kotlyarivka, Krokhmalny of Kharkiv region and Serhiyivka of Luhansk region. Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Masyutivka, Lyman First, Kislivka, Berestov in Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in Luhansk region were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
On Lymansky direction, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Belogorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirnyi in the Donetsk region. He carried out airstrikes in the areas of Belogorivka in the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Siversk and Spirnyi in the Donetsk region. Nevske, Belogorivka of the Luhansk region and Novosadove, Torske, Spirne and Mykolaivka of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
On Bakhmutsky direction during the day, the enemy carried out airstrikes on Khromovo, Bila Gora, Oleksandro-Shultyn of the Donetsk region. Kramatorsk, Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtechine, Bila Gora, Diliivka, Zalizne and New York of the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
On Avdiivskyi the enemy did not carry out offensive actions in this direction. He carried out airstrikes on Avdiivka and Vodyan in the Donetsk region. He carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Karlivka of the Donetsk region.
On Marinskyi direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the vicinity of the city of Maryinka. There, the enemy carried out an airstrike, Georgiyivka, Maryinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
On Shakhtarskyi direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vugledar, Prechistivka and Velika Novosilka of the Donetsk region. He shelled the settlements of Vugledar, Prechistivka, and Novoukrayinka.
On Zaporizhzhia and Khersonskyi directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. He carried out airstrikes on Robotyn in the Zaporizhzhya region and Berislav, Kozatskyi, Odradokamyanka in the Kherson region. Shelled the settlements of Illinka, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, and Zelene Pole in the Donetsk region; Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Gulyaipilske, Biloghirya, Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka of the Zaporizhzhia region; Marganets and Nikopol of Dnipropetrovsk region; Zmiivka, Vesele, Ivanivka, Ingulets, Sadove, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Dniprovske, Kizomys of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.
The Russian occupiers continue the forced passporting of the population in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region. In particular, the occupation administration set September 1 of this year as the deadline for obtaining a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation with a mandatory written refusal of a Ukrainian passport. Also, local energy companies report on the mandatory re-signing of new contracts for the supply of electricity only in the presence of a Russian passport.
All Ukrainian citizens who refuse to receive Russian documents are threatened with termination of electricity supply, deportation, confiscation of property and forced eviction from their homes.
Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces has carried out nine strikes on areas where personnel and military equipment are concentrated, as well as four strikes on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.
Our defenders destroyed two enemy attack UAVs of the “Lancet” type and a reconnaissance UAV of the “Orlan-10” type.
Units of missile troops and artillery during the past day hit the control post, the anti-aircraft missile complex, five artillery units at firing positions, nine areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment of the enemy.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 02.24.22 to 06.02.23 approximately amounted to:
