The registration application made by Çeşme District Governorate and District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office for “Çeşme mastic gum” was approved.
APPLICATION WILL ALSO BE MADE FOR THE EU
World It was stated that an application will be made to obtain geographical indication registration from the European Union (EU) for mastic gum, known as “mastica” in the market and used in food, health and cosmetics.
