As many as 155 police officers returned from duty with injuries after the fourth division German football match between Dynamo Berlin and Energie Cottbus. Namely, during the match, riots started in the stands among the fans, and most of the police officers were allegedly injured by tear gas that they threw themselves to calm the situation.
The Berlin police reported that 116 police officers suffered injuries from tear gas, 28 as a result of the attack, and 11 after being hit by pyrotechnics.

They also made a fair effort to avoid the policemen from having a physical confrontation, which is why the police used tear gas.
The troubles did not end there. The police also used dogs that bit and injured two Dynamo fans. Then the conflict continued outside the stadium, some fans threw glass bottles and stones at the policemen. The police responded with tear gas and water cannons. 74 fans were detained.
