Because she is “strongly ideologically biased” and gives priority to her “values” over pragmatism, a Chinese newspaper has classified Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock as right-wing extremist. An article in the “Global Times” says about Baerbock and the “right-wing Greens”:
“While Scholz recently visited China and made many positive agreements, the German foreign and economics ministries, controlled by the far-right Greens, were at odds with the Scholz-led Social Democratic Party, particularly on China policy.”

The reason for the conviction is probably that Baerbock recently announced a training mission for the frigate “Baden-Württemberg” in the South China Sea, reports “Bild”.
China sees Germany’s behavior in the East Asian region as a threat and an “elevation of the Taiwan issue”.
