Conflicts in Congress… | The reporter World news

Electoral conflicts reached the Congress of Jalisco.

The strange thing would be if it had not happened like this, but the most unique thing is that the confrontation is not between one faction against another, but within Morena.

It turns out that a new deputy (he arrived as a substitute), Mizraim Alonso Hernández, led positions against the Morenoist candidates, in particular against “Chema” Martínez, now a candidate for the Municipal Presidency of Guadalajara.

The new coordinator, Tomás Vázquez Vigil, issued a statement in which he recognizes that within Morena differences of opinion are allowed, but they “strongly” reject demonstrations against their candidates.

In passing, he reiterated his support for Claudia Sheinbaum and “Chema” Martínez. More was missing!

Last week, the Electoral Institute determined that the gubernatorial candidate, Pablo Lemus, did not exercise gender political violence against the candidate Claudia Delgadillo. But she, in a video, assured that the Institute “did it again” and announced that the complaint will be taken to the next stage: the Jalisco Electoral Court.

The issue will not only be about speech, because Delgadillo’s campaign team wants Lemus not to be able to appear in the two debates between gubernatorial candidates that are still pending. How are you?

They tell us that the Citizen Movement candidate’s team no longer even takes the Morenistas into account on this issue.

For now, the next debate is next Saturday.

In 2018, deputies from Jalisco boasted a reform to the Penal Code to toughen sanctions against murderers of police officers (the reform increased the punishment in seven crimes when the victims are agents).

In the case of homicides, the penalty increased from 40 to 70 years in prison. Did executions decrease? No. This year alone, at least seven police officers have been murdered.

Impunity continues and over the weekend the third most important police officer of the Jalisco Public Security Secretariat was executed in Tlajomulco: Gerardo Daniel Insúa.

According to investigations, between four and five people, including a woman, were responsible for the murder of the state commissioner, after shooting nearly 70 times. And the murderers? They escaped.

Again!
