On the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian military managed to advance up to 1,400 meters in different areas in a day. The Armed Forces continue to strike at the enemy, using the rotation of the occupiers.
This was announced by the spokesman of the Eastern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Serhiy Cherevaty, on the air of the national telethon.
“We are trying, taking advantage of the fact that the enemy is carrying out rotational measures and changing its units, to strike at the enemy, we are counterattacking. During this day, it was possible to advance up to 1,400 m in various areas,” he said.
At the same time, the Russian army is trying to strike at Ukrainian units: eight airstrikes were carried out and rocket-propelled artillery fired 330 times.
“In total, there were six clashes, during which our Defense Forces destroyed 138 invaders, 236 were injured, and one was taken prisoner. “The Carnation self-propelled artillery installation, 3 armored cars, a D-30 howitzer, a S-60 anti-aircraft gun, a ZALA unmanned aerial vehicle, 8 ammunition warehouses and 7 cars transporting ammunition and weapons were also destroyed,” Cherevaty added.
On June 9, Cherevaty reported that Ukrainian forces in the Bakhmut area began an attack on the Russian occupiers, taking advantage of the rotation of the Russians. Then, in a day, Ukrainian units advanced 1.2 km in some areas.
