Disaster in Europe, where there are storm codes orange. Flooding in Germany and the Netherlands, hail the size of a ping-pong ball in France

World news

Extreme weather phenomena affect central and western Europe. Torrential rains caused floods in Germany and the Netherlands, and in France hail disrupted road and air traffic. The weather is also predicted to be capricious in Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary, where orange and yellow codes for storms and heavy precipitation are in force.

Several Germans in the southwest of the country woke up with water in their houses or with their cars taken by the flood after a night and morning in which it rained non-stop.

The storms brought in some places 50 liters of water per square meter within a few hours.

The Dutch in the south and west of the country were the most affected by the raging storms. The large amounts of water accumulated in a very short time caused floods and landslides. And not only water was the enemy of the Dutch, but also electric discharges. A house burned down after being struck by lightning. No one was injured, the firemen announced, but the building was completely destroyed.

Even France was not spared by the capricious weather. Hail caused the biggest problems to the residents of the center of the country. Hail the size of a ping-pong ball devastated several vineyards.

Meteorologists warn that the rains will continue in the coming days with the risk of isolated weather phenomena.
