In Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region, today there was an explosion in the car of a correctional colony employee, as a result of which he died. This information was disseminated by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation, an unknown person planted an explosive device under the car of a correctional colony employee on May 5, 2024 in Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region. The explosion occurred and the victim died from his injuries. Investigative authorities opened a criminal case.

According to information from the Ukrainian department, the person who died as a result of an explosion in a car was Evgeniy Aleksandrovich Ananyevsky. He was one of the employees of the Berdyansk correctional colony No. 77.
“Evgeniy Ananyevsky, who was involved in torture of Ukrainian prisoners, was liquidated as a result of the explosion”– reported the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine.
