Facebook will change significantly in just a few weeks. After years, a popular function will disappear from it.

The company Meta, which (among other things) operates the social network Facebook, has informed about the planned changes.
In the European Economic Area, the so-called Facebook Collections.
The change will take place from July 1. “If you are a donor, the last day you can donate on Facebook or Instagram to a charity in the European Economic Area is 30 June 2024,” warns Meta.
Important dates
The company advises that if charities today have a Donate button at the top of their Facebook page, they can change it to send people directly to their own website.
Organizations should receive the last money from public collections on Facebook by July 15. If you have already contributed to a Facebook Collection, you will be able to support charitable organizations until June 30.
Those who have not contributed to the collections until now have definitively lost this opportunity since April 25.
