The Fire Department reported this Monday, May 29, a fire that consumed a bed and furniture in an apartment located on La Capilla avenue, in the San Benito neighborhood, in San Salvador.
A source consulted by this newspaper said that the emergency was reported at 11:30 in the morning. Firefighters came to the scene with a motor pump from the Fourth Station of Antiguo Cuscatlán, who controlled the flames in the apartment.
There were no victims and material damage has not been quantified. Fire inspectors searched the apartment to determine the causes of the fire.
