Four policemen accused of kidnapping fall in San Pedro Sula

Four agents of the Honduran National Police, alleged members of gang of kidnapperswere captured this Thursday afternoon in San Pedro Sula.

The Special Unit anti-kidnapping eight men were captured, including four active members of the police institution.

The policemen were presented by the National Police as Lester Elias Castillo Betancoassigned to the National Directorate of Roads and Transportation (DNVT) in Choloma, Cortés; Henry Roel Amaya Rodriguezassigned to the National Directorate for Prevention and Community Safety (DNPSC) in the Rivera Hernández sector of San Pedro Sula.

The third officer was identified as Maudiel Rolando Ferrera Amaya, assigned to the National Directorate of Roads and Transportation (DNVT) in Villanueva, Cortés; and Leonel Alonso Valladares Blanco, assigned to Tegucigalpa Transit.

The other four assumptions kidnappers They are: Eduardo Manuel Quiroz Betanco, Manuel Humberto Ramírez Sánchez, Ernesto Adalberto Lovo Carías and Lumbid Enrique Pacheco Flores.

The eight presumed kidnappers they were captured by the National Anti-Kidnapping Unit in a simultaneous operation in El Paraíso, Corpus Choluteca, in the Cerro Grande neighborhood of Tegucigalpa, El Progreso, Yoro, and San Pedro Sula.

The members of the gang had an outstanding arrest warrant for the crime of kidnapping aggravated to the detriment of a citizen for whom they demanded five million lempiras in exchange for his freedom.

In the operation, they seized ten cell phones of different brands, a black Ford Escape van, a white Nissan Murano van, and various items of clothing used on the day of the incident.
