Gerardo Morales: “The central challenge we have as a country is for the Frente de Todos to leave: they embarrass others”

The governor of Jujuy and candidate for president of the UCR Gerardo Morales visited the province of Corrientes this Wednesday, May 31.

In a press conference with the governor of that province, Gustavo Valdés, Morales said:

“We are convinced that the central challenge we face as a country is for the Frente de Todos to leave, for the government of the Frente de Todos to end, It is really embarrassing to see the position of the Vice President, the attitude of the President, who is very little concerned about inflation and the situation of growing poverty that our people have. And I am more convinced than ever that Together for Change is the only political force that can govern Argentina”.

“We are going to order the economy, and we are going to have the behavior that Gustavo has and that I have in Jujuy, of fiscal balance. I had to solve 32 years of fiscal deficit and order the province, end a parallel stateMilagros Sala is imprisoned because corruption is imprisoned in Jujuy, we have finished with that parallel State and with the roadblocks, with violence and corruption in the province. So there is very important work that has been done there. We are going to work that way and we are going to put Argentina in the place it deserves”.

“Obviously we are going to manufacture lithium batteries, now that the Vice President is so concerned about it, it is a pity that these 4 years, instead of seeking impunity, she has not dedicated herself to having an electric mobility law.”

“I think that the role of radicalism is going to be different in the new stage, always consolidating the unity of Together for Change, because it is not right that no force believes itself to be the owner of the coalition. We are not like the Frente de Todos, we need a coalition that is balanced, orderly and responsible to govern. And radicalism is going to contribute there, being today the most important party in the coalition, we are going to contribute with that criterion to solve the country’s problems, to fix this mess that they are going to leave us, of which we are not afraid ”.

Morales’s visit to Corrientes included his participation in the official acts for the 117th anniversary of the founding of the town of San Luis del Palmar, a visit to the Technological Center for Cannabis Production “Caá Cannabis” and to different public health institutions in the province, among them, the work of the future oncological hospital of Corrientes that will place the province at the forefront of cancer treatment, with state-of-the-art technology.
