“With stronger local downpours, small streams can rise, landslides can also be triggered, hail is also possible,” point to Meteoinfo. The greatest chance that it will remain dry today is in the extreme northeast of Slovenia and by the sea.

It is very likely that the storms will merge into larger systems that will slowly spread from the west towards the east of Slovenia. At the same time, the main danger will be violent downpours, which may continue over certain areas for more than an hour. Stronger gusts of wind and hail are also locally possible.
