Here, residents of Skeppsvik are fighting to eradicate invasive species: “Attacks”

It is the Skeppsvik Archipelago Association that organizes the activity, which involves clearing away invasive species. Approximately 100 permanent residents and many cottage owners live in the area.

There is a problem with invasive species, mainly Lupins and Giant Balsam. Now they want to take joint efforts to get rid of the species for good.

– We want a strategy to combat this. It’s about passing on knowledge and removing the species from the area, says Ann-Margrethe Iseklint.

In the video, you see how eight-year-old Rut Lönnqvist and residents of Skeppsvik work to eradicate the unwanted plants.
