“The celebration of the Day of Russia in the beautiful capital of our main ally, Minsk, is a landmark event and a clear confirmation of our unbreakable friendship. Russia and Belarus are truly fraternal countries. Our common history, the memory of the heroism and exploits of great ancestors, the interweaving of cultures and human destinies have created an unshakable basis for the construction of the Union State,” Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov said on the occasion of the holiday.
