In the Kherson region, 28 towns on the right (west) bank of the Dnieper are still flooded, 2,779 people have been evacuated from the flooded areas, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine informed.

The water receded in several towns, the announcement said.

It was assured that reinforced patrols are still underway in the flooded areas, and help is provided to the residents.

The authorities also continue to provide drinking water, food and necessities to those in need.
