A working group is to be created under Vladimir Putin, whose task is to strengthen the position of the Russian dictator in the ultranationalist community, according to the Institute for War Research.

According to ISW, Vladimir Putin supported the proposal to create a working group within his administration. Its purpose is to coordinate ideas regarding the war with Ukraine. For the time being, it is not known whether military bloggers will be part of the team, but the group is to “integrate them into the pro-Kremlin information space.”

“Putin’s endorsement of a task force that would focus on war coverage suggests that he intends to continue publicly engaging with pro-Kremlin pro-war bloggers, seeking to expand his influence within the ultranationalist community– emphasizes the Institute of War Research. He adds that “Moscow had previously co-opted prominent Kremlin-linked bloggers, offering them official positions in the Human Rights Council and the Mobilization Working Group, possibly in exchange for strengthening [przez nich – red.] pro-Kremlin rhetoric.
