The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harriswas a guest on her show Drew Barrymore and talked about the comments he receives about the way he laughsnoting that they constitute a form of sexism and misogyny.

“You asked me earlier about what it means to be the first female vice president of the United States. And you know it’s funny because people are still trying to get used to it, right? For example, my partners show me things that just amuse me. Like what some people say about the way I laugh.” said Kamala Harris, emphasizing that Americans are still getting used to a woman being the No. 2 in the United States.
“Yes you are right. ok I love your laugh” Drew Barrymore said for her part.
“I have my mother’s laugh. And I grew up with women who laughed their hearts out. They laughed while sitting in the kitchen and drinking their coffee talking about stories with a lot of laughter” added the vice president of the United States, putting her hand in front of her mouth to say: “You know I’ll never be able to be like that. I am not that person. And I think it’s very important to remember and to remind the younger ones: don’t be limited by other people’s perception of things and don’t think about how you should behave in order to be right and towards whom.”
