An outcry goes through France: Several children have been injured in a knife attack in the French city of Annecy, some of them life-threateningly.

It was a sunny morning when horror descended on the pretty Savoyard town of Annecy. A young man, a Syrian refugee according to official sources, attacked several adults and children with a knife in the city park near the lake. Four toddler boys and girls were attacked, some in their prams.
