Car accident took place in Menidi on the morning of Holy Wednesday when truck ran over and killed a 77-year-old woman.
The traffic accident occurred at 11:30 in the morning, on Konstantinou Karamanli Avenue heading from Parnitha to Metamorfosi, at the height of its intersection with Agia Triados Street.
The unfortunate woman was crossing the road – outside a pedestrian crossing – when the 58-year-old truck driver pulled her over.
The 77-year-old was taken to the “KAT” hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
