THE FIRE WAS EXTINGUISHED
According to the information obtained, the incident occurred around 19:30. A mentally unstable person started a small fire in front of the monument in Kızılay Güvenpark. The fire was extinguished in a short time as a result of the intervention of the traffic police in the area with a fire extinguisher.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON CAUGHT
The person who started the fire was caught by Çankaya District Police Department officers. Following the incident, the monument was cleaned by municipal teams. Allegedly, the same person climbed onto the monument recently.
