Cuts. – Authorities of the Hospital of Puerto Cortés and the manager “Fundación Manos Transformando El Puerto” have received from the construction company, the physical work of the women’s care room to continue providing quality care to each of the porteñas that visit the hospital center.
The construction of this project was carried out with funds from the Honduran Ministry of Health, under the model of the decentralized system that seeks to strengthen medical care and the health services that patients seek on a daily basis.
Nelson Hernández, executive director of the hospital, stated that “With this new construction we will be able to guarantee better care and improve the capacity of the Puerto Cortés Hospital, we are very happy because this room will soon be inaugurated.”
This delivery event took place at the area hospital where Nelson Hernández, executive director of Hospital Puerto Cortés and Olvin Aguilera, legal representative of the Fundación Manos Transformando el Puerto participated. Likewise, health, administrative and staff personnel of said foundation.
Hernández, stated that “This is good news for the Hospital de Puerto Cortés, we will continue to seek steps that benefit our patients and that allow us to continue advancing in the Honduran health system.”
Finally, he added “we appreciate the support of the Fundación Manos Transformando el Puerto”.
