Guatemala, May 28, 2023 (AGN).- We present the highlights of the news day of this last Sunday in May.

President Alejandro Giammattei reiterated the request for a greater number of temporary work visas for Guatemalans as a way to reduce irregular migration to the United States.

The initiative was raised by the President of Guatemala during a telephone conversation with the US Vice President, Kamala Harris, last Friday.
