Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya announced that 14 suspects, members of the Daltonlar Organized Crime Organization, led by foreign fugitive Beratcan Gökdemir, were captured in the “Mahzen-37” operations held in Istanbul’s Kağıthane Esenyurt, Beylikdüzü, Başakşehir, Bahçelievler, Küçükçekmece and Beşiktaş districts.
MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION WERE WANTED FOR MANY CRIMES
Police teams continue their operations against criminal organizations without slowing down to ensure peace and security throughout the country. In the raids carried out in this context, a major blow was dealt to the organized crime group known as “Daltons”. It was determined that 14 suspects, who were captured by the police operation, were involved in intentional murder, deprivation of liberty, workplace shooting, intentional injury and threats.
“THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SHELTER ON THE STREETS”
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya, who shared detailed information about the operations in his statement on his social media account, said, “I want our beloved nation to know that we will eradicate organized crime organizations with the support and prayers of our people. They will not be able to shelter in our streets. We will catch them all one by one and bring them to justice. Congratulations to our Hero Police Officers who carried out the operations.” He thanked the police officers with the following words: “May God bless you. Our nation’s prayers are with you.”
THE THINGS THAT THE CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION DID DID NOT ENOUGH
The criminal file of the organization, which carried out many actions in different districts of Istanbul, turned out to be quite long.
- Shooting of 3 separate workplaces named MOS, BT and CT in Esenyurt District between 31.03.2024 and 05.04.2024
- Shooting of the workplace named EBGR in Beylikdüzü District on 31.03.2024
- Throwing a hand grenade at the workplace named BS on 02.04.2024 in Başakşehir District and shooting the workplace on 14.04.2024
- In Bahçelievler District, workplaces named P. and CC were shot on 04.04.2024, and workplaces named SGL and İ.P were shot on 16.04.2024 and 19.04.2024.
- Shooting action in 80. Yıl Park in Küçükçekmece District on 22.04.2024
- Shooting of a jeweler named GB in Bakırköy District on 16.04.2024 and 25.04.2024
- 4 residence and workplace shootings occurred in Esenyurt and Avcılar Districts between 08.04.2024 and 13.04.2024
- 2 separate Attempts to Deliberate Murder in Beşiktaş District on 05.04.2024 and 11.04.2024
- Deprivation of Liberty in Esenyurt District on 12.04.2024

- 3 fully automatic pistols
- 2 stolen motorcycles
- A large number of ballistic vests and ski masks were seized.
