TERESA Kesovija sang twice at the Eurovision Song Contest, for two countries – Yugoslavia and Monaco. In 1966, Tereza represented Monaco at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Bien Plus Fort.

Tereza went to the Eurovision Song Contest because it was the great wish of Princess Grace Kelly. Prince Ranier wanted to send the blonde singer Isabelle, who was a bigger star, to the Eurovision Song Contest that year, but he gave in to his wife’s wishes and Tereza Kesovija went to the Eurovision Song Contest.

Tereza did not receive any points and shared the last place with the Italian representative Domenico Modugna, the author of the Eurovision hit Volare. The singer was also at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1972, when she represented Yugoslavia. She sang the song Muzika i ti and won 9th place.
