A minibus carrying seven American soldiers from the Deveselu Base overturned on the beltway of the town of Caracal. Five of them were injured and were transported to the Caracal Municipal Hospital to receive medical attention.
Five people were injured, on Wednesday, in a road accident on the Caracal bypass. A passenger minibus was involved in the event and it overturned.
The IPJ Olt announced that it was alerted to the fact that, at the intersection of VO6G with Communal Road 147, in the municipality of Caracal, a road event took place.
“From the first checks, the police found out that a man, while driving a car with 8+1 seats, in which there were 7 people, at the intersection of VO6G with the Communal Road 147, in the municipality of Caracal, allegedly lost control of the direction of displacement and overturned outside the carriageway”, the quoted source said.
Following the road accident, five people, passengers in a car, required medical care, being transported to the Caracal Municipal Hospital.
The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative.
The police have drawn up the documents verifying the event, and a criminal investigation file has been opened.
