The Mayor of the Capital NicuÅŸor Dan announced that the planting of almost 100 young trees in the area of ​​CiÅŸmigiu Park, within the project “Green Crown for Queen Elizabeth” has begun.

„We started planting almost 100 young trees in the area of ​​CiÅŸmigiu Park, as part of the Green Crown project for Queen Elizabeth. The first 30 trees are planted on the boulevard in the area bounded by Brezoianu and Schitu Măgureanu streets, being species such as Ginko Biloba and Liquidambar (Gum Tree)†, NicuÅŸor Dan wrote on Facebook.

He added that the Green Crown project for Queen Elizabeth is one of the winning projects within the participatory budgeting process organized by the Capital City Hall, through which civil society proposed projects for the development of Bucharest, which were implemented and financed ates of PMB†.
