– I am the president of the Republic of Poland for the second time, I have two years left to the end of my term of office, I know why my countrymen elected me. Well over 10 million people voted for me, and I think that most of all they voted for me in confidence that I will be the president of the Republic of Poland from the beginning to the very end, and therefore we do not talk about any of my foreign activities at all and there is no such thing at all. speech

When asked in an interview about relations with PiS president and Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński, the president replied that “he has great respect for him as a leader, as a great politician.”
– Personally I think [premiera Kaczyńskiego] as a statesman. He is a man who has been involved in politics in Poland for many years and I trust him when it comes to running Polish affairs, but he is a man who is my father’s age, it is difficult to talk about any friendship here – he assessed.
