Nine suspected “Reich citizens” in court in Stuttgart
It is the first of three mammoth trials against the group around Henry XIII. Prinz Reuß, who became known after a large-scale anti-terror raid in several federal states and abroad shortly after St. Nicholas Day 2022. The total of 27 suspects are said to have planned a violent overthrow of the federal government – according to the prosecution, they knowingly risked deaths in the process.
Nine of them will have to answer before the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court from Monday. They are accused of membership in a terrorist organization and of so-called “preparation of a treasonous enterprise.” One of the defendants is also on trial for attempted murder. This is the man who is said to have shot several times with a rifle at police officers from a special operations team during a search of his apartment in Reutlingen in March 2023, injuring officers in the process.

In Stuttgart it is said to be about the so-called military arm of the group, which should have enforced the takeover of power by force of arms. According to the indictment, work has already begun to set up a Germany-wide system of more than 280 military-organized homeland security companies.
The suspected ringleaders will be charged in Frankfurt from May 21st, and the other suspected members will be in court in Munich from June 18th.
Search for missing Arian continues
The search for six-year-old Arian from Bremervörde-Elm continues on Monday, as a police spokesman confirmed. There is still hope of finding Arian alive. “Giving up is not yet an option for us,” said a spokeswoman. “We continue to search day and night.” Arian is autistic and, according to an expert, would probably not be able to respond to calls.

On Sunday, the largest search operation to date was once again unsuccessful. Despite the deployment of 1,200 forces, no new lead was found, a spokesman said. The aim is to evaluate the results of the large-scale operation during the night so that further possible investigative approaches can be pursued on Monday morning. The six-year-old has been missing since Monday evening. Since then, emergency services have been combing the boy’s hometown and the surrounding area. Bremervörde-Elm is located in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district between Bremerhaven and Hamburg.
Klitschko complains about poor relationship with Zelensky
After Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschkos accused Ukrainian President Zelensky of clear mistakes at the beginning of December, he now doubled down in an interview with the Funke media group.
According to Klitschko, the Ukrainian government continues to do too little to combat high levels of corruption. In addition, there is no cohesion among Ukraine’s leading politicians.

He probably has other things to do.” It is important to forget political ambitions in the current situation. “To engage in political competition in such a situation is stupidity.” At the beginning of December, Klitschko accused Selenskyj of unusually clear mistakes.
