The integration of Soher El Sukaría to the formula headed by Rodrigo de Loredo only needed to be made official to clear up all kinds of last-minute rumors. AND The confirmation came on the afternoon of this Wednesday: the radical made the announcement at the PRO headquarters in Córdoba. Beside him, five duly labeled chairs were occupied by their respective owners: Soher El Sukaría herself, Laura Rodríguez Machado -who was bidding with the first for a place in the formula-, Oscar Agost Carreño, Héctor Baldassi and Carmen Alvarez Rivero surrounded the mayoral candidate.
“We have built a formula in which we complement each otherwhere it is reflected, as it will be seen throughout the list, a healthy and balanced integration of Together for Change”, said De Loredo.
The radical had to officiate as a nurse to achieve the synthesis and heal the wounds of those who had to settle for less than what they wanted. The PRO will be left with two places: one would go to the bully Jessica Rovetto Yapur, who arrives at the hands of Rodríguez Machado; and another for Gabriel Huespe, larretista sponsored by the “Coneja” Baldassi. The judiciary will finally be left with five places, one more than those that were considered in the previous days. And radicalism will have to content all its aspects with the rest. It would be all shoes, except for one detail: the municipal ballot will not bear the surname Mestre. Perhaps the brothers can push for a female councilor as a consolation prize that will almost certainly give them little comfort.
The woman in the espadrille who promises to add a neighborhood
The brand new vice mayoral candidate promised to “take the city by storm” on July 23. From the PRO they emphasize that the current deputy is tireless and that she provides direct contact with the neighborhoods. The same was recognized by De Loredo: “Her commitment to the city is demonstrated in her intense territorial presence.”
The yellow leader returned courtesies, praised the young white beret and promised to run the court. “We will leave every day what we have to leave to visit each door, each merchant, each neighbor”, she began, and continued: “We won’t leave a block unvisited. That’s the challenge.”.
