Prague – Hockey national team coach Radim Rulík will announce the nomination for the Czech Games, which will start in Brno on Thursday, this afternoon. He won all six games with the team in the final preparation for the home World Cup, and after Saturday’s victory in Bratislava against the Slovaks (4:1), he said that he needed another 24 hours before announcing the names. Today’s press conference will start at 13:00.
Reinforcements from the NHL should already arrive at the Czech Games. Only on Sunday did the dramatic final of the extra league between Pardubice and Třinec end. In preparation for the WC in Prague, the national team defeated Germany, Austria and Slovakia twice. At the Czech Games, they will take on Finland, Sweden and Switzerland from Thursday to Sunday.
