According to a representative of the NATO Financial Times, the situation is also monitored by the North Atlantic Alliance.
Lithuania is closely monitoring the situation in Russia and, if necessary, is ready to increase the level of combat readiness of the army. “We are monitoring the situation, we have not made a decision yet. However, if the situation changes, it will be more difficult – decisions can be made and the army itself can increase the degree of combat readiness.” Anusauskas said.

Asked how the Polish president sees relations between Ukraine and Poland after the end of the war, Duda replied that he liked the relations between the two countries that are members of the European Union and NATO. “This, in my opinion, will contribute to the prosperity not only of Ukraine in terms of ensuring its security, but also the economic well-being of the entire society in the future.”
According to Andrzej Duda, the issue of transforming the Ukraine-NATO Committee into the Ukraine-NATO Council has already been properly resolved. “The Council will be a much stronger structure in terms of Ukraine’s ability to mobilize NATO when needed. For example, a very strong proposition for this council is that Ukraine can request its convening at any time when it considers that a dangerous situation has arisen. It’s a great privilege” – explained the Polish leader. Duda noted that as a president who wishes Ukraine all the best, he is convinced that it would be much better to at least formally invite Ukraine to join NATO.
The President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, also referred to the proposals of some countries that propose to Ukraine to conclude a compromise with the Russian Federation in order to end the war and cede territories. The President of the Republic of Poland proposes to the initiators of such “peaceful” proposals to hand over their territories to the Russian Federation.
“If they are willing to give up territories so easily, then go ahead! Let them give theirs. Let Ukraine regain Donetsk, Lugansk and Crimea, and let someone give up part of their territory in return. he stressed. According to Duda “Russia will be happy if it gets such a beautiful piece of, say, the Mediterranean coast.”
Today, when the world is particularly ambiguous, we must be sure that Russian agony and chaos will not spill over to our lands. Ukraine should not beg for it. It should be a bilateral cooperation. It is a pity that many countries still do not understand this, do not understand that Russia is flying into the abyss and wants to draw in as much of the world as possible. And now only Ukraine can physically oppose it.
