Sarah Connor’s sister Lulu receives ridicule

World news

On Friday, the celebrities danced very personal moments from their lives on “Let’s Dance”. However, Lulu Lewe’s performance was not well received by the audience.

The ninth edition of the current “Let’s Dance” season promised great emotions: On Friday evening, the celebrities presented their very personal “Magic Moments” on the dance floor. The show started with many tears from Jana Wosnitza. The presenter spoke about her mother’s cancer and danced the fight against the disease in the song “Fighter” by Dream A Lot.

There was not only a standing ovation in the studio, but also a lot of praise and 30 points from the jury. Lulu Lewe, however, was less convincing. However, that wasn’t due to her dancing skills, but rather to the staging of her magical moment.

The 32-year-old dedicated her performance to “Endless Love” by Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey to her husband Sebastian. Lulu, who makes music like her sister Sarah Connor, sang the first lines of the song in her wedding dress. She then took that off and continued dancing in a red latex outfit with professional Massimo Sinató.

Passionate kisses on the “Let’s Dance” floor

At the end of the song there was a surprise for Lulu: Sebastian suddenly appeared on the TV. The singer stormed into his arms, both beamed and kissed passionately again and again.

“I don’t know if you’ve kissed often enough,” joked presenter Daniel Hartwich. Many viewers in front of the screens also made fun of Lulu. At X she received a lot of ridicule. “The crooked singing, the fumbling and then the smooching… It’s all so over the top – help”, “The whole thing is just embarrassing”, “It couldn’t be more unpleasant” and “Pure foreign embarrassment” were just a few of the many Comments.

Some users speculated that show nine could have been Lulu’s last on “Let’s Dance”. And that’s exactly how it happened: the singer received a solid 24 points from the jury for her wedding dance, but in the end it was the audience who decided who would go on – and too few people called for Lulu and Massimo.
