Skoro about the sister and coalition of the HDZ and the Homeland Movement: 'I thought I knew these people...' World news

Establishesč Miroslav Škoro of the Homeland Movement, who does not want to have anything to do with the party today, was a guest in the studio of RTL Direkt, where he commented on the post-election agreements on the government. He touched on the statements of Marija Radić and Ivan Penava and the condition that the SDSS should not be in the government with them. – I thought I knew these people, but I don’t know that I could speak enough about him. My late mother taught me that when I don’t have something nice to say, it’s better not to say anything. I wish them all the best. That this is a difficult and delicate situation is certain. I don’t know how it will end – he said.

He added that the intentions of the Homeland Movement are much different from his. He says that he entered politics for very emotional urges and reasons, rather than people who are now in the party.

– I did not enter politics to become popular. To get into a situation to blackmail someone, to trade with others, to come to power, to have more ego. I am moreć was popular enough. Thank God, I have enough – he said and then added that “he wanted it to be a Homeland movement, a broad movement”.

– I would also say different political worldviews, people of emigrants and native Croatia who will give an account of their country – he said and pointed out that he is not interested in “trading stories and would not be interested in them” never been inclined”. He then explained the difference between Penava’s Homeland Movement and his own, and said that “they don’t listen to the same music”.

Then he remembered the incident he saw on television. He explained how the song Lijepa li si, where Škoro sings a few lines, was played on an election night, and a man tried to turn it off.

– That’s unfortunate. So, the song is no one’s fault, yes, but again I say not too much on that topic because I don’t know what he would say. Ž I’m sorry that it all happened like that. I think that we as a people and as a country can do much better and that we deserve things like this. May God help us – said Škoro.

Škoro said that the voters should be asked if the agreement with the HDZ is a betrayal of the voters, even though the Homeland Movement said during the campaign that it was not for them. He then touched on his sister, Vesna Vučemilović who is in the party, and who is mentioned as the key hand that HDZ lacks for the majority.

– That’s why I love my wife and my daughters very much, and probably the third female person on that top list is my sister. We lost our mother early and my sister is, I can safely say, very educated, very smart, very sweet, very emotional, she has very good attitudes and I’m sure she will do the best she can. We can talk about my sister as much as you want, but about the politician Vesna Doctor Vesna Vučemilovać not too much tonight, he replied. I wish her all the best and pray for her to do her best. I repeat again and it sounds like a platitude, but really for the people and for this country – he said.

Vučemilovć wrote earlier that she does not allow anyone to enter into unnatural alliances on her behalf that represent betrayal of the election. When asked about a possible agreement between the left and the right, Škoro said that “everyone would have to stop for a while, return to their roots, and then everyone could agree on everything”. He said of President Zoran Milanovic that he is very special, “not only a politician, but also a human being”.

– An intelligent man, a very good communicator. He also has his own way of communication and I respect him on this occasion as well – he said and then answered how he interpreted that as Milanovi’s. a favorite job of the right.

– Impression, that is another proof that the earth is round. You know, if you go enough in one direction you can finish. So, if you go west enough, you’ll end up in the east. So if you go left enough, you’ll end up right. Look, and besides, time passes, we all mature together, and that experience certainly makes us different people. And then when you are in some situations, you may spend a little more time looking at some things, and maybe from the position he is in now, he can see some positions better than he saw them before. Personally, I don’t mind the way he communicates. Even if I do, I smile sweetly – concluded Škoro.
