“Cloudy and windy in the evening, mostly dry in the north of Serbia, with snow in other regions with a further increase in the height of the snow cover, while rain is expected in the lower regions of eastern Serbia and in Pomoravlje. A moderate and strong northwesterly wind will blow. Windy and dry in the area of Belgrade and the surrounding area“, reads the warning of the RHMZ.
Due to the intense snow, many roads are covered in snow and vehicles can barely move. Numerous settlements are without electricity, writes “Blic”.
On Mount Tresibaba, one truck blocked the entire road due to snow and ice on the road. On the highway near Vladičina Han, you can hardly see how much snow is blowing, traffic is difficult, and drivers are urged to take maximum care.
The situation is also bad on the Nis-Pirot highway. A long line of vehicles has formed, road workers are trying to clear the road.
Two trucks are stuck on the main road from Nova Varoša to Zlatibor and are standing on the right and left side of the road. Cars have to get between them somehow.
