Personnel changes in Ukroboronprom
First, let’s discuss the appointment of the head of Ukroboronprom. It is necessary to understand what the Ukroboronprom concern is. This concern appeared in Ukraine when Viktor Yanukovych was still president. Ukroboronprom became the roof for all Ukrainian enterprises. Today, it unites 118 Ukrainian enterprises. Some of these enterprises, after the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, suffered from constant rocket attacks. Therefore, not all enterprises currently manufacture military and defense weapons. Contracts executed by enterprises are signed directly with the Ministry of Defense. The management of Ukroboronprom is not responsible for the execution of these contracts. The maintenance of the Ukroboronprom concern amounts to over UAH 450 million. According to media reports, the President of Ukraine has set several important tasks for the new head of the concern. In particular, to increase the volume of the nomenclature of weapons, to complete the reform of the defense industry and to clean the industry from corruption. I would like to remind you that President Zelenskyi set similar tasks to the two previous heads of Ukroboronprom. Now, as we see, these results have not been achieved. The Ukroboronprom concern is not corporatized, and the issue of weapons production is at such a limit that does not satisfy the Ministry of Defense. That is why it is now very difficult to predict what exactly will change with the arrival of the new head of Ukroboronprom. Since the task of reforming Ukroboronprom affects the interests of many ministries and agencies. First of all, in the issue of reforming the concern, the Ministry of Strategy and Industry, which has always been in the shadow of these processes, should play a key role. Now we expect that changes will really take place and perhaps the concern will start producing more weapons that are so necessary on the battlefield.
The situation in the Kupyansk direction
The junior sergeant of the UAV attack and artillery reconnaissance company of the 92nd brigade named after Oles Malyarevich, head of the basket of Ivan Sirko, said that the Defense Forces completely stabilized the situation in the direction of Svatove-Kreminna. The enemy continues to try to carry out assault actions, but to no avail. Enemy movement is completely stopped. Now the main task of the Defense Forces remains to detect any movement of enemy equipment and manpower and destroy them.

Oles Malyarevich also reported that the process of transferring the enemy’s equipment and manpower to the Kupyan direction is continuous. In particular, according to Malyarevich, as soon as the enemy believes that it is successful in a certain area, it immediately tries to strengthen this part of the front. During such movements of the enemy, the defense forces work very successfully against the Russians. Malyarevich emphasized that all sections of the front in the Kupyansk direction, which the enemy considered strategically important, did not work for the Russian army. He added that thanks to the professional work of the Defense Forces in the Kupyan direction, not a single meter of territory was lost.
Oles Malyarevich also spoke about the work of his company. The main task of the company is to destroy enemy equipment with the help of FVP kamikaze drones, bomber drones, night bombers and reconnaissance drones. He emphasized that the company is armed with the entire range of such devices. According to Malyarevich, the one who is constantly technologically developing and learning will win this war. Malyarevich also reported that his company of strike drones receives tasks for each day: defined goals and an order of action.
Ukrainian production of means of electronic warfare
Yuriy Momot, the deputy general director of the company “Piranya Tech”, which produces means of radio-electronic warfare and radio suppression of a wide range of action, said that his company manufactured systems for security companies and civilians. However, with the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation, the company changed its strategy. Today, the company manufactures more than 80% of various systems for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, trench electronic warfare systems and anti-drone guns. He also reported that the company also produces more powerful means of radio-electronic warfare, which are currently being tested.
Yuriy Momot also emphasized that the state is creating various platforms where volunteers, military personnel and manufacturers can discuss and create a really high-quality product. He also noted that the cost of the products of his company and others depends on many factors, the main one of which is elements for electronic warfare systems.
