Tanker driver Mehmet Göğüş said, “I neither drank alcohol nor was sleepy while driving towards Pazarcık district after loading the company’s concrete with a vehicle belonging to the Kalesan company from Narlı district and unloading it to Güçlü concrete company in İslahiye at around 11:00. I remember that my eyes darkened 5 minutes after we set off. I “I have blood pressure and take medication regularly. I have heart, diabetes and blood pressure diseases. My speed in the vehicle was between 70-80 kilometers. I think I was unwell, I don’t remember anything,” he said.

Minibus driver Latif Örs said, “While driving in the direction of Hatay road in the passenger minibus with plate number 27 K 5127, I saw the concrete mixer vehicle approaching us rapidly from the opposite lane in Ağabey location. The speed of the truck was so high that I saw the tires were off the ground. The vehicle was coming towards us in a flying state. I noticed the situation. “As soon as I did, I turned the vehicle to the right. I tried to escape, but I could not escape. I acted in accordance with the traffic rules.”
