Of course, many employees prefer to make an appointment to eat during their lunch break. With their frequent presence at the restaurant, they try to restore their contacts and communication after the difficult period of the pandemic.

Communication, the trump card of the canteen

This is exactly where the DEHOGA link is betting, hoping that the situation will improve in the near future for canteens or organized restaurants operating in workplaces. “It’s not just about the food, it’s also about the feeling of well-being, the ability to communicate, the pleasure of social contact,” says the DEHOGA spokeswoman. “This is a piece that contributes to a good corporate culture.”
