In November 2023, during the Latin Grammy Awards ceremony in Seville, Spain, the Argentine DJ Bizarre and his compatriot, the singer Milo Jsurprised with a version of their joint song formally called Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 57but better known as Today I’m going to the sun next to the Uruguayan murga Hold on Catalina.
At the beginning of this month, when Milo J performed in Montevideo, the murga participated as a guest and performed this version with him, as well as two other songs (clearfrom No Te Va Gustar, with Emiliano Brancciari, and Montevideo by Tabaré Cardozo), and now, The song was published on music streaming platforms.
Recorded live, the song is now formally named after Today I’m going to the sunand closes an EP of six songs signed by the two Argentines, called in sleeping without Madrid. The live recording was made at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires.
“What a pleasure, compas,” the murga wrote on her official Instagram account before the launch of the collaboration, and then dedicated a message to Milo J: “Thank you very much for the art shared, dear”, and then, in a publication by the rapper in which he appears listening to the song, they dedicated to him “what do you think you are, bo.”
The collaboration was managed at the time by Bizarrap, who invited all the members of the murga to their performance at the Grammys, in a presentation that sought to be a celebration of traditional music from different Latin American countries.
