In the Mogilev region of Belarus, the construction of a military camp for mercenaries of the Wagner PMC is underway, the regional forestry told Verstka. According to the interlocutor of the publication, there will be several camps, one of them will be located near the town of Osipovichi.

“We are working, we are already working today. Tomorrow before lunch is the task [построить]”, — said the interlocutor of “Layout”. He added that the area of the camp will be 24 thousand square meters, it will be designed for eight thousand beds.

A source of Nestka, close to the leadership of the Mogilev region, confirmed that the authorities were instructed to build a camp for PMCs in the region. The information that the mercenaries would be sent to Belarus was also confirmed by the relatives of the “Wagnerites”.

The interlocutor of the publication said that her husband, who participated in the rebellion, informed her about being sent to Belarus, but did not get in touch again.

Recall that the other day the head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, staged a rebellion, accusing the Russian Defense Ministry of having dealt a blow to his fighters. He stated that, together with 25,000 Wagner fighters, he began to move towards Moscow.

On the morning of the next day, it became known that Wagner fighters controlled the building of the headquarters of the Southern Military District in Rostov-on-Don. According to Vladimir Putin, the work of civil and military administration is blocked in the city. He also promised to punish the instigators of the rebellion. Prigozhin replied that “the president was deeply mistaken about betrayal.”

Later, information appeared that PMCs control military facilities in the Voronezh region and continue to move towards the capital, where armed checkpoints have already been set up, a counter-terrorist operation regime has been introduced, mass events have been canceled and an additional day off has been announced on Monday June 26th.

However, by the evening of Saturday, June 24, when the Wagner units, according to Prigozhin, were about 200 kilometers from Moscow, he suddenly changed his plans and decided to return back to “his field camps.” The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation said that the leader of the mercenaries “went to Belarus.”

After that, Prigozhin stopped communicating.
