“The decisions I make, I make with Eva”

World news

Hollywood star Ryan Gosling According to his own statements, his choice of role is based on his family. “The decisions I make, I make with Eva, and we make them with our family in mind,” explained the “Barbie” star, who is dating US actress Eva Mendes has two daughters (8 and 9), the US newspaper Wall Street Journal. He’s currently focusing on the mood at home and thinking about “what’s best for all of us.”

For the film “La la Land” (2016), he probably included his daughters in his decision for the first time. “I thought, ‘Oh, this will be fun for them too, because even if they don’t come to set, we practice piano, dance or sing every day,'” he said. For his role as Ken, the girls inspired him with their interest in Barbie and their lack of interest in Ken.

Family is Gosling’s top priority

According to Gosling, he occasionally thinks about the end of his life. “I often think about what will be important to me on my deathbed, what I did and what I didn’t do,” the 43-year-old recently told the magazine Men’s Health. That puts things in perspective for him. “It’s extreme, but it’s helpful.” With all the problems in his life, he takes this perspective and always recognizes his clear priority – and that lies with Mendes and the daughters, explained Gosling. “I don’t think I’ll have any professional regrets, but I think when it comes to Eva and the girls, they come first.”

In his new film, the action comedy “The Fall Guy,” Gosling must track down a movie star who has been stolen from a major film set by his former girlfriend and director Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt) has disappeared – he also wants to recapture his ex.
