IDN Today, Gunung Sitoli – With the damage to the Provincial road in Gunungsitoli City, from Jalan Yos Sudarso Saewe Village it crosses the direction to Moawo and heads towards Gamo. The damage to the road is quite disturbing to the community in several points which have been badly damaged, so far the water has stagnated on the road which is quite severe, resulting in many complaints from road users.

Some of the residents fell down and were annoyed, so with this initiative we together with the Cadres of the Nusantara Awakening Party (PKN) in Gunungsitoli City carried out the Caring Action as well as Gotong Royong (Gotroy) activities, said the Chairperson of the Nusantara Awakening Party DPC, Sozanolo Telaumbanua. Thursday (8/6/2023).

The National Awakening Party with the Community Implement Mutual Cooperation, Sozanolo Telaumbanua, who is often called Ama Elsa, who is also on the Advisory Board at the PEWAKI DPP, said that road infrastructure for residents is a vital means for their daily activities.

Damage to the road with potholes that are knee-deep in depth which results in a risk for road users, causing them to fall and also drivers experiencing delays in getting through it.

“This activity is simply our concern that the funds come from the cadres of the Nusantara Awakening party in patching and inserting damaged road holes that can be at least useful and no longer have road users who are at risk,” he said.

We hope that the Gunungsitoli City Government, in this case the PUPR Service Office of Gunungsitoli City, will be concerned about the damage to the road. We hope that the Head of UPTJJ Gunungsitoli can follow up on this matter, he said.

In response to this, the Chairperson of the PEWAKI DPP, Hatoli Lase appreciated the activities of the cadres of the Gunungsitoli City National Awakening Party (PKN) with the community in carrying out mutual cooperation to fill up damaged roads which have been inundated with water, so that they can be traversed comfortably and hopefully this sense of mutual cooperation keep going on.

The chairman of the DPC PKN was concerned that he went down and immediately filled up the damaged section of the provincial road in Gunungsitoli City. And we hope that the Provincial Government of North Sumatra, in this case the Head of UPTJJ Gunungsitoli, will not let any damage to the Provincial Roads be allowed to be responsive and immediately repair the damage to the road, he concluded.
