On the night of May 29, Russian occupiers attacked the airfield in Starokostyantinov, Khmelnytskyi region.
The spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces told in more detail about the enemy attack on a military facility in the region Yuriy Ignat on the air of the national telethon.
“Yes, the strike took place there, the Starokostantyniv airfield. There is some damage there. We cannot announce all the details. The fire has been contained, I think that everything will be restored there and everything will work.” he answered.
According to Ignat, more data will not be released yet, because what happens at military facilities, “is not public so that the enemy does not draw certain conclusions.”
It will be recalled that at night Russian troops struck the objects of Khmelnytskyi. One of them is a military man. Khmelnytskyi OVA reported that 5 aircraft were disabled. Restoration work of the runway has begun.
