They took the third place Catherine, Maya and Dubravka! Second place was taken by Timoteja! On the last day of the whirlwind week, Dubravka Holec cooked for the team. She got 36 points for her evening. Tens were given to her by Timoteja and Katarina, and Maja gave the host nine points. Marina was the strongest and gave Dubravka seven points.
She started the preparation of the dinner with the appetizer “Colorful on a plate”.
– Probably some salad – Maja guessed, and Timoteja added that the salad would include chicken and tomatoes.
– Mož yes caesar salad – added Marina. Various types of salad and chicken were the stars of the appetizers, Dubravka soon discovered. This was followed by the dessert ‘Ciglica under the snow’.
– Vanilla pudding will surely be under that snow, but what else will there be, what could a brick be… – Katarina asked herself.
The brick was a real mystery for the rest of the ladies as well. Soon Dubravka explained that it was puff pastry with sweet potato puree – with sugar and sweet potato pudding. Finally, Dubravka created “Gica u šumi”.
– It’s lungić with mushrooms, this will be nice – revealed Marina. She was right – mushrooms, lungić and cream were the main dish. For a side dish, she made homemade gnocchi. After finishing the dishes, Dubravka turned to preparing for the reception of the guests.
Soon, Dubravka welcomed the team with appropriate aperitifs – cherry liqueur, walnut and her father’s brandy.
– She seemed nervous, she was nervous, but we were all like that – said Katarina.
– She may have been tired, but she radiated positive energy – added Marina.
– The aperitif was very good, I have never drunk cherry liqueur before, it was great for me – concluded Timoteja.
“Colorful on a plate” arrived first in front of the ladies.
– It was a little plentiful, but it justified the name of the dish – Marina assessed the appearance of the appetizer. Timoteja also agreed.
– It looked perfect, but when she said that she put garlic, it didn’t suit me – Katarina was honest.
– The most interesting for me was the crispy bread, it lifted the salad because it was really crispy – concluded Maja.
The main course, ‘Gicu u šumi’, was served by Dubravka next.
– The main course was screaming for me to eat it – Maja assessed the appearance of the main course.
– It looked beautiful to me visually – added Marina. Finally, “Ciglica under the snow” arrived in front of the ladies.
– The dessert was really a brick, not a brick, huge – commented Timoteja.
– And sweet potato again, I tried it in sweet form and I was delighted with this sweet potato custard – revealed Maja. Marina was also delighted by the sweet version of sweet potatoes, and Katarina was also satisfied.
At the end, Dubravka presented the team with commemorative gifts, and then there was an appropriate musical surprise – a performance by the “Group of Relatives”. The cheerful mood at the end delighted the team.
