The company operates stores on the Slovak and Czech markets, where it has more than 120 branches. The Okay network, which deals with the sale of electricity and furniture, has not been doing well on the market for a long time.

For months, she has been looking for a new investor who could help her with capital, or take over the entire company. The information was brought by the Aktuality.sk portal, which refers to the Czech Hospodárske noviny.

The company is trying to find a new investor as soon as possible. OKAY store management told Czech Hospodárske noviny that the entire process could take up to two months to complete. But the management did not specify whether they plan to sell the entire company or only a part of it.

“At the same time, news is leaking from the market that the company has overdue rent obligations to several suppliers, and insurance companies are limiting its so-called credit limit, i.e. the amount of money for which the seller can order goods and take them into stock,” they write Hospodárske noviny.
