León, Guanajuato.- Wrapped in blankets and with traces of violence, authorities reported the discovery of a person died in the Nuevo León neighborhood.

The discovery was recorded at 3:10 in the morning when the neighbors of the Apodaca street, on the corner of Los Herrera Street, they arrived home. Then, they noticed that in the middle of the street there was a bundle tied with a blanket.

According to the FGE public database, between 2019 and 2023, 33 clandestine graves were located in eleven municipalities of Guanajuato, in which 470 bodies and 874 pieces of evidence – clothing, shoes or limbs – were exhumed.

Of those 470 bodies located in graves, 420 have already been identified and 50 remain unknown, according to FGE reports.
